This photo is the perfect definition of my mood for the last month. This homely creature looked like it was literally thrown across the cloudy sky with it's toes spread wide and beady eyes straight ahead. He would get there one way or another but can't promise to stick the landing. It makes me smile every time I look at it. lol I don't mean to mislead you. Life is good but for a month I have been wrapped in a blanket because I cannot get warm. I have not been working on anything meaningful because I cannot seem to focus. The barn is still frozen shut so we cannot put away our camping gear or retrieve our quad to clean up the yard... who wants to anyway. It's freezing out there. Then we both got the flu and topped it off with miserable head colds and soar throat that want to just linger. Yes, I am still smiling. That is because before all that, Hugh and I had a whole month vacation to get warm, relax, regroup and make plans. BIG plans. We will unfold these to you as we finalize each part. You will be surprised without a doubt but I know you will enjoy what's to come. So even though our landing after the perfect vacation has been less than smooth, it seems like a good time to lift a drink to "dreaming, to amazing possibilities & to adventure". Cheers everyone!
